The club stadia are privately owned property and therefore access to the stadium and the content gathered at the stadia are controlled by two forms of agreement (see below). Please note although access agreements are applied and administered centrally via DataCo, each club makes the final decision regarding access for journalists and photographers depending on local conditions prevailing at the time of the match.
Access Agreements
Access to the stadia of the FA Premier League and Football League Clubs by journalists and photographers are controlled by signed Access Agreements. Space in the press boxes and around the pitch is limited. Safety requirements are paramount for the public, players and members of the press. No one is allowed to enter the stadium without both an access agreement and local club permission, being in place prior to the match taking place.
End User Agreements
All content gathered at the stadia is controlled by an End User Agreement. These agreements cover use of written match reports and still images. As part of the Access Agreement no content can be sold to a third party without the third party having an End User Agreement in place. Please note a news organisation does not require an End User Agreement to collect content.
Please use the facility below to find out the terms of either an Access Agreement. |
