Media Accreditation

 

Media Accreditation for Premier League and Football League matches is organised centrally by Football DataCo and locally by the home club. Space in the press box and around the pitch is limited and safety requirements for the public, players and members of the press are paramount. No individual is allowed to enter the stadium without both a Media Accreditation agreement and local club permission being in place prior to the scheduled match.

Application Process

Please complete and return two copies of the relevant agreement on the right hand side.

All applications must be submitted with a copy of the organisation’s public liability Insurance cover note for the minimum amount of:

£5million for Premier League matches
£2million for Football League matches

If applying on behalf of an agency/freelancer or newspaper, we will also require:

For Premier League applications:

Journalists
30 football match reports published in national newspapers (or equivalent) within the last 12 months (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer)

Photographers
30 football match action photographs published in national newspapers (or equivalent) within the last 12 months (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer)

For Football League applications:

Journalists
15 football match reports published in regional newspapers (or equivalent) within the last 12 months (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer)

Photographers
15 football match action photographs published in regional newspapers (or equivalent) within the last 12 months (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer)
