Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Football DataCo Limited ("we" or "our") is committed to the highest standards of professionalism, ethical behaviour and integrity in everything we do.

This is our first statement on the anti-slavery and human trafficking measures implemented across our business and is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“MSA”).

Our Organisation

We were established in 2001. We are structured as a private company incorporated in England that is wholly owned by the Premier League and the English Football League. We operate our head office in London.

We are authorised by the Premier League, English Football League, and Scottish Professional Football League to collect and distribute official match related data for the benefit of the clubs and players which make up the Premier League, English Football League and Scottish Professional Football League.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chain is relatively small and consists primarily of service providers whose employees have qualifications and skills that are unlikely to be exploited through forced labour. We assess the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking occurring in our business to be low, but we recognise that no organisation can consider itself immune or afford to be complacent.

We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in our organisation or in our supply chain. We comply with all applicable labour laws relating to working terms and conditions, including pay, and we place great emphasis on the fair and equal treatment of all our staff. All our staff are paid at least the London Living Wage.

Training

We have provided training to our staff on the risk that the business faces from modern slavery and human trafficking in its supply chains. Since November 2021, our staff have periodically completed an interactive online learning module which provides context as to how the crimes of modern slavery and human trafficking may be understood. This module was refreshed in August 2024 and has been completed by all staff. This module also highlights potential warning signs for individuals to be aware of. [This module forms art of our induction process for all new employees.]

Supplier Due Diligence

We expect all our consultants, contractors, suppliers and other business partners (together "Suppliers") to adopt the same high standards that we adhere to. As part of our contracting process, where appropriate, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, and we expect that our Suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

When contracting with Suppliers, we also include an express obligation that Suppliers comply with the MSA. We also take steps to ensure that there is a provision in our agreements with Suppliers that if a Supplier is found to be in breach of its obligation to comply with the MSA, then we are entitled to terminate that agreement immediately.

Assessment of Effectiveness

This statement constitutes our anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 July 2025. We will continue to assess the effectiveness of the measures we take, and we will regularly review and refine our policies and procedures, and the mandatory training provided to staff, in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking and will include updates on any actions we take in future statements.

Looking to the Future

Over the next year, we shall continue to monitor and, where appropriate, review our Supplier due diligence and contracting process to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

This statement has been approved by Football Dataco’s Board of Directors on 24 February 2026. A revised statement, detailing the steps taken and improvements made, will be published on the Football DataCo’s website each year at https://www.football-dataco.com/.
