Media Accreditation - Full Season Applications
The below information serves as a general guide for media organisations wishing to attend matches on a regular basis. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and Football DataCo may request further details to assist with the application as appropriate.

For Premier League accreditation (new applications):
Journalists
Applicants are required to provide:
- 30 football match reports that have been written by the applicant and published in national newspapers (or equivalent) from matches attended within the previous season (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer). Please note that this material should be from matches attended under the remit of the applicant and outside of Football DataCo’s accreditation scheme.
- Evidence of £5million of public liability insurance cover.
Photographers
Applicants are required to provide:
- 30 football match action photos that have been taken by the applicant and published in national newspapers (or equivalent) from matches attended within the last 12 months the previous season (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer). Please note that this material should be from matches attended under the remit of the applicant and outside of Football DataCo’s accreditation scheme.
- Evidence £5million of public liability insurance cover.
For EFL accreditation (new applications):
Journalists
Applicants are required to provide:
- 15 football match reports that have been written by the applicant and published in regional newspapers (or equivalent) from matches attended within the previous season (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer). Please note that this material should be from matches attended under the remit of the applicant and outside of Football DataCo’s accreditation scheme.
- Evidence of £2million of public liability insurance cover.
Photographers
Applicants are required to provide:
- 15 football match action photographs that have taken by the applicant and published in regional newspapers (or equivalent) from matches attended within the previous season (with the corresponding payment invoices if an agency/freelancer). Please note that this material should be from matches attended under the remit of the applicant and outside of Football DataCo’s accreditation scheme.
- Evidence of £2million of public liability insurance cover.
